Christian Heim
Christian studied composition and conducting in Sydney, New York, Vienna and Paris. His music-theatre works have been performed in Australia and New York. Music from his CD Prayer Dances (Move Records), can be heard on ABC classic FM. Christian held lecturing positions at the Faculty of Creative Arts, University of Wollongong and the Faculty of Music, University of Newcastle before moving to medicine. He is a Churchill Fellow and his research area is the arts/medicine interface.
Caroline Beck
Caroline graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York with a Drama League Award. Her lead role in the New York debut of Barker's Women Beware Women attracted critical acclaim from the New York Times and Post. Caroline worked on New York stages and in US capital cities in theatre for six years. Since returning to Australia, Caroline has worked in television, on stage and in film. Having completed a PhD (UQ) she is an associate lecturer in performance studies at QUT and her primary research area is audience reception.
